Refund Policy

At Capital Hobby, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
This Refund Policy outlines when and how refunds, returns, or replacements may be provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

By placing an Order with us, you agree to the terms below.

2. Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect choice, or if you simply no longer want the product.
Please review your Order carefully before completing your purchase.

3. Faulty or Damaged Items

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product you purchase is faulty, not as described, or fails to meet consumer guarantees.

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with the following details:

  • Your Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Clear photos or video showing the fault or damage

Once verified, we will arrange one of the following at no additional cost to you:

  • Replacement of the item (where available)

  • Refund to your original payment method

  • Store credit

4. Trading Card & Collectible Items

Please note:

  • We do not accept returns on trading cards or sealed products that have been opened, tampered with, or damaged after delivery.

  • Condition-sensitive items (such as single cards) are listed with clear grading or condition notes; all sales of these items are final, unless they arrive damaged or not as described.

5. Order Errors

If you receive the wrong item or there is an issue with your Order, contact us within 7 days of receiving it. We’ll work quickly to correct the mistake by sending the correct item or issuing a refund.

6. Refund Processing Time

Once approved, refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days.
Funds will be returned to your original payment method (e.g., PayPal, credit card).
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Return Shipping

If a return is required:

  • We will provide a prepaid return label for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items.

  • For non-faulty returns (if approved at our discretion), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Items must be returned in original packaging (where applicable) and securely protected for transit.

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty:

  • Opened trading card packs, boxes, or sets

  • Gift cards or store credit

  • Sale or clearance items
